Mr. Thilo Schmidt
Mr. Thilo Schmidt is a widely recognized aviation professional with incredible experience. He is a Consultant and Partner with Copernicus Strategic Consulting since 2009 and the Deputy Chairman Federal Aviation Security Association of Germany since 2013. In his distinguished career in the Department of Transport of Federal Republic of German he was Head of International Cooperation in Aviation, Deputy Director General Civil Aviation and Director General Civil Aviation. He was also the Representative of the Federal Republic of Germany on the Council of ICAO from 1982 to 1993.

Article 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation:
The laws and regulations of a Contracting State as to the admission to or departure from its territory of passengers, crew, or cargo of aircraft, such as regulations relating to entry, clearance, immigration, passports, customs, and quarantine shall be complied with by or on behalf of such passengers, crew or cargo upon entrance into or departure from, or while within the territory of that State.
