Dr. Vahid Motevalli

Associate dean and professor of Research and Innovation of Tennessee Tech University. Vahid held leading positions in aviation and academia at several national and government laboratories (NIST, NRL) and launched the Center for Technology Development at Purdue University. As chairman of the George Washington University he directed a global Aviation Safety and Security Summit program, as mandated by a U.S Congressional Act, in partnership with the U.S Department of Transportation, FAA, and the U.S State Department.

Article 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation:

The laws and regulations of a Contracting State as to the admission to or departure from its territory of passengers, crew, or cargo of aircraft, such as regulations relating to entry, clearance, immigration, passports, customs, and quarantine shall be complied with by or on behalf of such passengers, crew or cargo upon entrance into or departure from, or while within the territory of that State.
