Jalal is a frequent guest in the broadcast media on issues related to international civil aviation. He co-authored and co-chaired the 2014 High Level Symposium on the Past, Present and Future of the Chicago Convention during the 70th Anniversary of the 1944 Convention on International Civil Aviation. Jalal holds a master’s degree in international legal and political studies with a focus on international aviation from the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, a Bachelor of Science in aviation management from Metropolitan State University of Denver and several certifications from the U.S DOT’s Transportation Safety Institute in Oklahoma.
